I'm Prophetess Angel Thomas and I welcome you to join me on this journey of discovering that we as women are amazing! The realization of the strength God has given his daughters to endure life and all of what comes with it is absolutely divine in nature. The fact that we can wake up in the morning and face another day after dealing with the weight of the day before reveals our innate ability to push through whatever challenges are ahead of us. But often times pushing through it all means suppressing our own pain and ignoring what makes us healthy individuals emotionally, physically, mentally, and spiritually. We go to church, work, events and family functions with smiles on our faces but behind the smiles. behind the makeup, behind the beautiful weaves, our professional jobs, the education, and our ministries we are broken, tired, and some of us just want to exhale or simply give up. However, in my own observation and personal relationships with some of these awesome women I realize that most of us maybe living successfully but we are not living victoriously.

I believe we have been duped, we have become victims of a delusion, either in our own minds, the media or even church. We are made to believe we have to maintain a certain image or persona that says we are on top of the world and that we have victory. It is this very imprint that has created a huge market that we have ultimately bought into that tells us to dress it up and put a pretty bow on our depression, our loneliness, our anger, our resentment, our rejection, our bitterness, our abandonment issues and our inability to forgive. The world tells us to dress up our emotional enslavement like Cinderella, get into a pumpkin carriage driven by the mice footmen, and go for the glass slipper. Remember Cinderella was abused mentally & emotionally by her wicked step-mother and step-sisters. Cinderella was rejected and the sudden death of her father caused her to feel abandoned by him and her fairy god-mother never addressed the fact that she was a slave to her step family's jealousy and envy, instead she waved her wand put a beautiful gown on her, glass slippers on her feet, and gave her a pumpkin carriage in hopes of capturing the prince's heart. So we've read this story along with many other fairly tales, TV shows and movies and we believed that this is success and victory however what we were taught is to ignore our issues, wait for prince charming to rescue us and that it is only then we will live a victorious life. And so it goes, we get on the wheel and try and achieve what the world says a strong successful woman should be and what she should have by a certain age and we are driving ourselves into a pit of emotional, physical and mental stress. But what does God say? What does the scriptures reveal to us that will ultimately transform every woman into God's VICTORIOUS LADY?! Meet me back here the first Tuesday of next month as we discover and discuss further THE VICTORIOUS LADY.
